Today, the “II International Job Fair in Transport and Logistics” traditionally began its work at the Tashkent State Transport University. Tashkent State Transport University is a state higher educational institution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the only educational institution in Central Asia that trains specialists in the field of transport in railway, aviation and automobile specialties. The traditional job fair is attended by managers and employees of structural divisions responsible for working with personnel of the Committee for Highways and its territorial departments, with vacant positions. The main goal of the exhibition is to introduce specialists studying in the transport sector to opportunities for work and internships at foreign and domestic enterprises and organizations. This year, 224 graduates are completing their bachelor's degree at the Tashkent State Transport University's Faculty of Road Engineering. Eight of them are women.Today's job fair is attended by Andijan region with one vacancy, Bukhara region with 18 vacancyes, Fergana region with 38 vacancyes, Jizzakh region with 6 vacancyes, Namangan region with 8 vacancyes, Navoi region with 18 vacancyes, Kashkadarya region with 31 vacancyes, Republic of Karakalpakstan with 17 vacancyes, Samarkand region with 5 vacancyes, Syrdarya region with 4 vacancyes, Surkhandarya region with 12 vacancyes, Tashkent city with 22 vacancies, Tashkent region with 25 vacancies and Khorezm region with 6 vacancies.

The construction of an underground road connecting the 40th km of the highway section with the 3rd km of the D215 highway section "Urgench - Khiva Highway - Khiva compressor station" has been completed. The customer is the State Enterprise "Directorate for the Construction and Reconstruction of Public Highways", and according to the project of the Road Design Bureau LLC, the contractor - the Khorezm branch of the cluster DP "Uzelkoprik" in January began construction of the facility with a total length of 480 meters, a width of 18 meters and a cost of 90.3 billion soums. During the construction and installation works, the site was fenced with 860 m of corrugated iron, 225 trees were transplanted, soil was excavated, crushed stone mixture was laid and stone cladding was performed. For pumping water, 18 pumps with a capacity of 25 m3/h were installed and connected to the main pumping station. ⛔️The monolithic reinforced concrete walls of the facility are based on 8,300 m3 of heavy concrete and over 580 tons of reinforcement, as well as 40,000 m2 of waterproofing material. 52 18-meter-long slabs have been installed on the bridge section. Over 4,900 m2 of asphalt concrete pavement has been laid on the roadway of the facility. For lighting systems, 12 iron columns and more than 70 floodlights were installed. The necessary road markings and road markings were applied, and cleaning work was carried out.
