An informational event was held at the Committee for Roads of Uzbekistan to promote the content and essence of the Law on Conflict of Interest, with the participation of employees. The seminar covered the law's entry into force, its key concepts, scope of application, main principles, related persons and their rights and obligations, restrictions on conflicts of interest, and the powers and duties of the special authority, state agencies, and other organizations in regulating conflicts of interest.

 During the event, employees were also informed about compliance with the law, disclosure of information regarding conflicts of interest, measures to address such situations, accountability measures, the process for declaring agreements void, and procedures for compensating damages.

 Seminar participants received detailed answers from experts to their questions about close relatives, working on a rotational basis, the activities of ethics commissions and special divisions, as well as potential conflicts of interest declarations, incorrect information in declarations, and the accountability measures applied when conflicts of interest arise in state procurement.
